What situations might you use the GROWS model to steer the conversation?

I'd suggest everything from network event to sales meeting, from coaching conversation to mentoring meeting.

If you know what your client/contact wants to achieve, where they are now, what options/constraints they have and then moving to make a choice and committing to doing something about it... how often would that work?
